I am writing this review but it seems quite worthless as the management of BAGELS CAFE does not seem to be interested in making positive changes in the cafe.

 

Anyhow, I went to BAGELS CAFE for breakfast as that was the only restaurant open at 8 AM and I was craving a good breakfast.

 

I stated with the Masala Tea and boy was I disappointed to see that it was "tea-bag" Masala Chai & not the actual freshly prepared Masala tea. Also, I had to ask the waiter, who was also the cook, who also prepared our bill (a handwritten bill not a proper bill, btw) to heat my tea as it was really cold.

 

My partner ordered their Smoothie (with mango juice, orange juice?, milk, minus the ice cream). The juice had curdled the milk in a weird way and the whole concoction just did not gel well together!

 

I then ordered a "Burger Bagel" and my partner ordered an "Omelette Non-Veg Bagel". His Omelette was freshly made and piping hot and the meat in my burger was defrosted "S***". It was still cold around the edges and it was so not worth the wait or travelling 20 kms for it!

 

We finally ordered a "Hazelnut Nutella Pancake" and I was happy to see that it was hot and had a huge lump of Nutella in the centre giving it all its taste. The combination of Nutella Pancake and the piping hot tea was the best part of my breakfast.

 

When the bill arrived I was shocked again because paying so much for a below average meal did not seem right. Especially when the table at the window where we were sitting was wobbling all throughout our meal. We had to stop eating, place a newspaper underneath it to make it from moving so unsteadily.

 

I would rate this place a 2/5 for it food and 3/5 for its service.
